The Breeze has continued its support of Hampshire Paediatric Diabetes Group via its Community Kickstart initiative. At the end of September we were awarded a grant of £300 which will help several young people with Type 1 Diabetes attend the annual Fairthorne residential trip where they learn about their condition and how to gain independence in managing it.

The recent PlayDays Session was a great success. Newly diagnosed children and their families came along. The parents asked for another, so one is scheduled for the under 7's at PlayDays on Friday of the October half term at 9am. 

Young T1Ds, their siblings, friends (and parents!) are all invited and so if you're free do come along and meet the other children and parents. No need to book, simply turn up and play!
